Jeffrey Chan, MBChB

Having graduated with a medical degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dr Jeffrey Chan is a clinical researcher in cardiology and general internal medicine. His research focuses on the epidemiology, prognostication, and detection of heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases, with a special interest in echocardiography. He is also experienced in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses and is an advocate for using trial sequential analyses in appropriate meta-analyses. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed original studies, meta-analyses and reviews in international medical journals. In addition to his engagements with OPRI, Dr Chan is currently a project lead and peer mentor at the Cardiovascular Analytics Group (Hong Kong–China–United Kingdom collaboration) and collaborates extensively with international investigators.
