Mona S Al-Ahmad MD FRCPC FAAAAI

​A Senior Consultant Allergist and Clinical Immunologist at Al-Rashed Allergy Center in Kuwait and Chairperson of the Department of Allergy. Faculty chair of the Allergy and Clinical Immunology fellowship program at Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations (KIMS) in Kuwait, and the founder and current president of the Kuwait Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and faculty member at College of Medicine, Kuwait University. 

Dr Al-Ahmad completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada, followed by an adult allergy fellowship. She then spent one year conducting clinical research, focusing on respiratory diseases and asthma. Dr Al-Ahmad’s current research interests include respiratory diseases and severe asthma. She is the lead author and principal investigator of many regionally and internationally funded research projects and has many publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has also collaborated on many books and white papers.
